This month Micah had to endure two more transitions. First, Daddy went back to work, then a week later, Jonah started preschool. So how did everyone do with the transition? Daddy returned to work and quickly realized that he's much happier when he's at home with his wife and sons. Mommy misses having Daddy around the house to help care for the boys and do housework. Jonah was so terrified to go to school that he clung to his Mommy in tears. That's not true at all. Jonah really enjoys going to school and on his first day there were tears, but they were Mommy's, not Jonah's. As for Micah, he did just fine. He's had to adapt to a lot in the last 4 months and he has done so remarkably well.

We spent a morning at the beach. Both the boys were in the sun most of the time, but didn't get burned. Daddy stayed in the shade and came home bright red. They must have got their tolerance to the sun from their mother, because it certainly didn't come from Daddy.
